S'mores and DeCooks

A good combination if I do say so myself!

However, I did not even have a bite of a s'more. I wanted to inhale one, but that might have been my total carbohydrate allowance for the next week (or more) so I didn't give in to my burning desire to eat one or two or three.

Apparently Tate likes his "smarshmallows" (as he calls them) burnt...

The DeCooks hung out with us for a bit over dinner and dessert (and drinks) outside. Sean and I grilled yet again. I could grill every.single.night. We had ribs tonight and veggies grilled in our grill pan. I love the fact that I don't know how to grill and so the work is all in Sean's hands. :)

Tate at 2 s'mores AND an additional "smarshmallow". I mean, why not right? Let's fill him up with a bunch of sugar before bed! Ha.

He was HAPPY to say the least. Chloe was a HOOT tonight. My goodness she cracks me up! Just before AND after this picture, she was hammin' it up. The camera pops up and she's immediately serious...

This is more like it...

I know I've said it MULTIPLE times, but honestly, living in this neighborhood just a few houses away from DeCooks has been so amazing! Love our neighborhood, love our home, love our friends.

And we got A BUNCH of wood from our neighbor, Larry this afternoon. So we have a stock pile for a while now and he said we're welcome to more when we run out. We're going to be having lots of nights like tonight in the next few months!

If only I could eat the s'mores...
