Monkey Joe's Birthday Party

Tate had the time of his life at his Monkey Joe's birthday party!
It was so much fun...especially for the kids!
We didn't really have a theme per say, but we did everything in orange.
Tate is crazy about orange!
He got the orange party room and all 3 of us wore orange and his cake was orange.
It was fun. :)

Monkey Joe even came in to visit and NOT to our surprise, Tate was nervous and didn't like it.
Well, not at first.
As you can see, the other kids loved Monkey Joe!

And Tate came around once he saw all the other kids so excited...

Then it was time to open gifts.
I believe he was saying, "thank you" into the microphone when this picture was snapped.

And he got his beloved Leapster.
He has been on it a ton since yesterday!
We limit his time he can use it or he'd be on it every second of the day!
He truly LOVES every toy he got...he has played with all of it.
He's been in heaven since yesterday!

And this is a prime example of Tate's Sensory Processing Disorder.
Here he is while we were singing Happy Birthday to him.
As you can see, he loved it.
Ha. :)

He was happy when the singing was over and he could blow out his candles and eat some cake!

Thank you to everyone who came to his party!
He has been so full of joy since then and can't stop talking about his party!
