Tate has possibly had the best weekend ever this weekend. On Friday night, Brigg, Lani and Ayla stayed the night and they all played and played. Then, on Saturday evening, DeCooks came over and we decided that it was a good night for Tate to have his first friend sleepover. Ava stayed the night and both she and Tate were so excited and kept talking about what big kids they were. It was pretty adorable. I have a feeling these sleepovers will be happening more often...especially this summer! When the kids woke up, they ate chocolate chip pancakes with whipped cream and played the morning away. DeCooks joined us again for the day to eat the day away and watch the Super Bowl. We sent the kids outside for a while to burn some energy in the snow. It is BEAUTIFUL out! It's in the 30's and the snow is perfect for snow balls and snowmen. They truly have such an amazing bond, these two. This picture KILLS me...I LOVE IT!
I love these two kids to death and especially love to witness how much they love each other! Their friendship is such a gift and they truly get along famously nearly all the time!

(Oh, and after much contemplation, I decided that for the first time ever, I will be routing for the Steelers today. I have to say that my 2 least favorite NFL teams are playing in the Super Bowl today, so I am mostly watching for the commercials. However, I do own a lot of black and yellow clothes, so the Steelers it is. Plus, I can't stand the Packers.)
