OxyClean, privacy and siblings

Tate seriously thought he was SO FUNNY posing like this when I was trying to take pictures of our living room this morning. He was cracking himself up and couldn't stop giggling.

Here are a couple of funny things Tate has said lately...

I was getting some cleaning supplies out and Tate spotted my Clorox Wipes and said, "on TV, they call that OxyClean. You know, where they paint an X on the shirt. Is that OxyClean, Mommy?" He's so funny and can't believe the things that come out of his mouth sometimes.

Tate is really into 'privacy' lately. When I was in the bathroom with Tate and Kayla the other day and Kayla was in the bath, Tate said, "Mommy, please leave, Kayla and I need some privacy." Then, Tate and Ava were watching a movie last night and he said, "Mommy, Ava and I want some privacy." I seriously don't recall saying that to him ever, so I don't know where he got it!

Tonight at the dinner table, we got onto the subject of brothers and sisters. I asked Tate if he knew who my brother and sister were. His guess was that Nana S was my sister. He understands that brothers are boys and sisters are girls, but he really doesn't understand the concept of brothers and sisters at all. I asked him if he had a brother or a sister. He said, "I have a brother." I asked him who his brother was and he said, "Tyler." I explained that Tyler is his cousin, not his brother. He just said, "OH, okay." Then we said, "Would you want a brother or a sister someday?" He said, "I want a brother." Then we asked him what he would like his brother's name to be if he had one. He said, "Bode". Then we asked what he would like his sister's name to be if he had one. He said, "ummmm, Leah". Super creative, Tate. :) He's so sweet...he loves his cousins so much!
