Pride of the Wapsi

That's the pumpkin patch we went to today with Mike, Sarah, Leah and Kayla.
The girls rode horses...Tate opted out as he was a little to nervous.

Tate was perfectly content standing on the sidelines.

oh.my.goodness.
This is typical Tate.
Notice Kayla looking through the whole perfectly and then Tate...he perfectly placed the BACK of his head in front of the whole. He said it was too bright to look through.

Then there was face painting.
Tate said he DID NOT want to do this, but after watching the girls, he was all for it.

He sat perfectly still for what he calls his "tattoo"...

All done!

He chose a pumpkin.

And then there was goat feeding...

Aside from feeding from the hand, you could feed the goats through this can.
You pull the rope until the can of food gets to this tower where a goat is waiting for it.
So fun!
Tate LOVED it!

The goat patiently waiting...

The Peakin Family on the tractor trailer we rode out to the pumpkin patch to pick our pumpkins!

Mike and Kayla in the pumpkin patch...

The 3 kids hunting for their pumpkins...

This is seriously my favorite picture from the pumpkin patch!
It's a perfect example of how mommies multi-task!
Sarah taking a picture while carrying Kayla on her back.
Way to go Sarah!

Leah insisted that this was the only pumpkin she wanted.
Shockingly, they didn't charge her for it. :)
Funny, we all hiked the pumpkin patch, but this is the ONLY "pumpkin" that was picked out of it.
The rest of us left the patch empty handed and just bought a few small pumpkins back at the farm.

It was such a fun time! The weather couldn't have been more perfect!
