Tate peed standing up this afternoon.
We were at Chili's eating lunch with mom and he said he had to go potty.
When we got to the bathroom and he saw there was no potty seat or training potty, he said, "actually, I don't have to go."
I knew he did.
I said, "why don't you try going standing up?!"
He said, "okay", and then went!
It was kind of amazing that it was as easy as that!
For some reason, that made him seem so much more like a big boy to me.
Potty training is kind of the center of our life right now, hence the constant posts about it!
Still, Tate has not had a single accident!
Woohoo!
OH, and when he was done, he heard a couple of women talking outside of the stalls and he must have thought that one of them was his Nana because he YELLED, "NANA! Pee came out of my penis and I peed while standing up like Daddy does!" Oh geez. The women laughed and congratulated him when we walked out of the bathroom stall and he was a bit embarrassed I think that it wasn't actually Nana because he suddenly acted really shy. I might have been a bit embarrassed too! Ha. :)
