A Good Day

Sundays are usually bummers. Sean works all day and I know I have to be at work the next day and I am usually tired because Saturday nights tend to be our nights we stay up way too late. Last night we went to Chris and Brenda's for a yummy meal and some hanging out with a few other couples, but I started to feel not so great and had a headache, so we headed home around 9:30. Tate was in bed, but hadn't fallen asleep yet, so we decided to head out while he was still awake. When we got home, we both cuddled up with blankets on the couch and I fell asleep. I didn't wake up today until almost 9! It was great to get a full night sleep and feel refreshed today. Sean had to go to work and Tate and I just hung out this morning. About 11:00, we headed to the Starving Artist Sale to meet Luke and Erin and help them pick out a piece for their living room. There was so much really neat stuff there. Then Tate and ran a couple of errands and then came home and just played and I got some stuff done around the house. Tate napped (aka...layed in bed awake for almost 2 hours) and then Cathy came over and I did her hair and now we're just relaxing and playing again. I don't know why, but it just seemed like a really good day. We missed Sean, but aside from that, we liked just hanging out today. It was nice having Cathy here to keep us company for a few hours. Usually our Sunday evenings can get pretty lonely here without Sean.

A new work week starts tomorrow and it's going to be the first full week of work I've had in 3 weeks...hopefully it flies by. I've enjoyed my short weeks these last couple of weeks!

Sounds like a good day. Sometimes the best ones are spent "getting your life together" at home. It helps to make the work week run more smoothly at our house! Have a good week!
