Ruby Falls

I must disclose that these pictures do NO JUSTICE for the beauty of Ruby Falls.

It.is.breathtaking! Literally...took my breath away...and I could hardly keep the tears back when I saw the waterful. God's creation is just so magnifiscent! It's a MUST SEE for anyone who travels through Chattanooga, TN. It was the perfect ending to such an amazing trip!

We got there just in time for the last tour. We visited the gift shop while we waited for our tour to start and the kids tried on silly hats...

They were truly bursting at the seams with excitement to go into a cave and see the waterfall!

It was so amazing...I only wish the pictures portrayed it's wonder more...

Every little aspect of the caves just floored the kids...it was so fun to watch them enjoy it so much!

The natural rock formations were unbelievable!

And at the end of the walk through the caves, you get to a GIGANTIC waterfall that is so gorgeous and breathtaking and incredible!

We couldn't get a great picture of our families in front of the waterfalls where you could see the waterfall AND us, so we opted for us...

And HERE'S the waterfall.

This is the top half of it...it falls FAR...I can't remember how far, but hundreds of feet...

These two were on the tour guide's heels during most of the tour...

After exiting the caves, you can go up to the look out on Lookout Mountain...

We stayed at the Chattanooga Choo Choo Hotel. It was great for the kids! It was HUGE, with 3 pools and several buildings. It was great! The pools were open until 11pm, so we let the kids stay up LATE and swim until after 10pm. Then it was off to bed so we could be on the road by 8am this morning to get home in time for dinner.

We rolled into Davenport right about 6:30pm.

And now it's back to reality...it is still not sinking in that vacation is over. Ugh.

What an unbelievable trip it was with people who we love more than we could say.

Brenda said it best when she said, "it says a lot of your friendship that you all can vacation together for over 10 days and STILL be friends when the trip is over!" Ha. :)

We are blessed to have such an amazing relationship with the DeCooks.

Thank you Lora, James, Ava and Chloe for putting up with us for all that time and making this trip so full of countless memories!

We love you guys!
