Now that we're in a home that we are required to do our own snow removal, we get a massive blizzard with 17 inches of snow and 3 foot drifts.
It was funny...the entire neighborhood was outside shoveling/snow blowing today. This is how Sean met everyone.
Welcome to the neighborhood!
This was the drift out our back door. I think it's funny that the imprint of the door is on it...

Sean shoveled for HOURS...
I made him smile...I think it might have been hard for him...
It wasn't hard for Tate to smile though. He loved watching Daddy out the door. I think he would have loved to be out there with him, but we were afraid if we let him go out in it and he fell, we may not find him again until the snow melted!
There has been maybe 1 or 2 cars even attempt to go down our road today. We have seen snow mobiles though! Funny. Sean is scheduled to work tonight. I cannot see how that is even going to be able to happen. I honestly don't think he'll be able to get out of our neighborhood if he tried! I saw 1 SUV and 1 truck go down our street today and both were barely making it! Our neighbors van got stuck right behind our driveway and it took a small army (6 neighbors) to dig and then push him out. Praying that Sean doesn't have to go to work and that census is low and he gets called off.

Looks like Sean and Mike did the same activity today! Luckily a nice neighbor brought over his snowblower to help Mike this morning. I thought I'd make it to work but the school's parking lot wasn't cleared. Leah made it outside for a little while to help Mike shovel our deck and didn't want to come in until she got snow in her boots!
Ouch.. bad timing on that one but super cute picture of Tate watching at the door!
