Tate's bedroom

As many of you know, Tate has never been a great sleeper. He has nightmares, night terrors, talks and 'plays' in his bed for sometimes hours before going to sleep and just plain doesn't require much sleep. In our previous home, Tate's bedroom housed many of his toys including his easel, his guys, books and cars. He was known to be caught out of his bed "getting a toy" after having been put to bed sometimes hours earlier. However, we just didn't have enough space in our home to put his toys any other place. In this house we do. So his room is SIMPLE. It houses his dresser, bed, piggy banks, clothes and a bookshelf with most of his books. It's been nice and he has not gotten out of bed a single time (to our knowledge) since moving to this home. I still have wooden letter that spell TATE that I will be putting on his walls once I paint them the appropriate colors, but aside from that, his room will be staying super simple.
Here it is looking into it from his door...

Here's the view from his bed towards his dresser and the door.
He loves his room and so do we! Just to the right of the picture above is his closet, some hooks on the wall where his coat hangs and someday a bookbag for school will hang and then his bookshelf with his piggy bank and books on it.
Simple. Perfect for Tate.
