weird

I took this picture today.
I cannot get over how weird this is.
Or maybe how sheltered I am.
This was taken in Clinton.
It's the Mississippi River.
First of all...it's blue.
The Mississippi River isn't usually blue...not even close!
Second of all...it's WIDE!
I mean, I figured somewhere in the US, the Mississippi River was probably wider than it is in Muscatine and the Quad Cities, but not just a short 45 minutes away!
It's like 4 or 5 times wider than any part of the Mississippi River I've ever seen!
