a fun day

To help out Cassie a bit today while she did some packing, I went down to Muscatine and took Ayla for the day.
So this was my tiny crew today.
I loved it.
I love them!

First we ran an errand and then went to Weed Park.
If you look closely in this picture below, you can see 3 turtles right where the water touches the rocks to the right of the bridge. If you can't see them, click the picture to enlarge it. I was probably most excited about the turtles! :) Tate and Ayla loved looking at the ducks. There is about 48 million in this pond and they are the craziest ducks ever. Really, they stalk you and are actually kind of scary.
It was fun though and the weather couldn't have been more gorgeous.

You just can't beat Iowa in the fall!!!

When Tate and Ayla are one on one, they do so well together!

After lunch and a bit more playing, we got to pick up Brigg and Lani at school and eat dinner with them before heading home.
It was a fun day with these two!
