this is how we roll

Big deeeelicious dinners together...

Including this huge ham, party potatoes, coleslaw, rolls, wine...

a bounce house for the kids to play in out back...

and S'mores for dessert...

Okay, this isn't USUALLY how we roll, but it was super fun tonight!
We had a fabulous evening with the DeCooks. They're both teachers and are back to work and we are sad to not see them as often so we pulled out all the stops for our evening tonight. :)
Oh my goodness, it felt like Christmas dinner! The ham was amazing and so was everything else. The kids got to jump in the bounce house before the rain came, which unfortunately wasn't very long. They had a great time though. With the rain, S'mores weren't going to be easy, but our fabulous husbands weathered the rain and roasted our marshmallows for us so we could still have dessert!
Then, we let the kids play a bit before putting them to bed so that the adults could play! Games that is. We had a fun and hilarious game of Loaded Questions. We laughed SO HARD and stayed until the wee hours! It was such a great night. We are so happy to have these people as our friends and are reminded of how blessed we are each moment we get to spend with them! Tate and Ava love each other and it's just been so amazing to watch them grow and change together and now to watch their friendship grow. And then adding Chloe to the mix is just so much fun! Lora and James are family to us, truly. We love them and have so much fun spending time with them! Thank you guys for yet another fun night! We love you!
