Tate makes me so proud...so so proud!
It's like after the first time he went potty, it just clicked.
He has only gone on the big potty once, but hasn't had a single accident in these last 2 1/2 days.
Tonight, during his bath he even said, "mommy, I have to go potty!" Then he suddenly stood up and hopped out of the tub, sat on the potty, did his business and then hopped back into the tub!
I don't know why that situation amazes me so much...I guess it's because he could totally go in the tub like he I am sure always did and I would have never known, but he chose to get out and go like a big boy!
When I was washing his body during his bath, he said, "mommy, you don't need to clean my penis and bum! They are already clean because I don't wear a diaper anymore!" Okay, well not really Tate, but they certainly aren't as stinky as they were before! Ha.
He's too funny! And he is definitely extremely proud of himself for his potty training accomplishments!

Congratualtions!! Isnt' it just such a relief when it finally clicks and they get it! I'm sure it seems long overdue, but you were smart to wait until he was ready then to fight with him about it. Way to go Tate!!
