A Fabulous Day

We just had one of those days. Super productive, super fun, lots of laughs and hugs and kisses. Just together as a family. I haven't felt like a family on a weekend for I don't know how long! Tate and I are always alone all weekend because Sean's always had to work. When he got home from work on Saturday nights, we'd frequently go to hang out at Chris and Brenda's, but by the time we layed Tate down, Sean would usually be falling asleep on the couch as well because of his exhausting schedule. So needless to say, we NEEDED a family weekend. It was terrific. We got SO MUCH done around the house. It pretty much feels like a whole new place. We've completely rearranged our living room, changed up some rugs and things in the bathroom, completed changed Tate's room, revamped the basement/family room so it's more cozy and usable (it's awesome now to have that extra living space!), cleaned, did laundry and put away a ton of Tate's old clothes that are getting too small and some that are just too warm for this warmer weather that we hope sticks around!

We played outside, grilled for supper tonight (we had sushi at Chris and Brenda's last night!)and had some good quality family time. :) I love weekends like this!

Tate is growing like a weed! He's really filling out so much from all the weight he lost from his surgery. He is in all 2T and 3T clothes unless we're desperate and put on something 18 mos that is too tight or short, but not too embarrasing to be seen in. :) His feet have grown 2 sizes in the last 3 months! He's such a big boy.Tate is currently really into tools. Here he is with his tape measure which he loves playing with. He also is a master at counting to 12 because of it! He measures everything and also drills everything. I'm guessing he gets his "handiness" from his current obsession with Handy Manny.

Where'd you find the tape measure? Sully really wants one but I havent found one like Tate's that actually looks real...Sully refuses to have one that looks too much like a toy!

it came in a black and decker toy tool set.
