and the hits keep coming!

We went and got Tate's chest x-ray done and turns out he has pneumonia. So since he's been on antibiotics for just a couple days, we will keep those in him for the next day and if he doesn't improve, he'll be put back in Blank Children's Hospital. Tomorrow if his fever isn't under control and he isn't more active (he's pretty lethargic) and he's not drinking more (he's only taking in about 8 oz a day...not close to enough to prevent dehydration) then we have been advised to take him to the ER. Otherwise, we've got a follow up appointment on Monday for another chest x-ray, blood work and just an overall check up to see how he's doing. Poor baby. In his 2 short years, this is the 2nd time he's had pneumonia! I had it around Christmas last year and I felt TERRIBLE, I can't imagine having that and also having just had surgery. My heart breaks for him.

Please pray that he's able to drink more, his fever gets under control and his antibiotics clear up his pneumonia.
