There are very few things that are good (in MY opinion ;))about my brother and his family living down here in Florida.
It's fun to see them when we are on vacation, it's fun that when they come home, they are on 'vacation mode' and that always makes for a good time, oh...and the fact that THEY are happy down here I guess makes the fact that they live down here a good thing! :) Selfishly, I wish they were still in Iowa...
HOWEVER...a couple of nights ago, the fact that they live down here allowed for Sean, James, Lora and I to go on a double date! Woohoo! Not sure that we have EVER gone on a double date with The DeCooks! Brenda came to the house and watched the kids and they had so much fun with her! I am guessing the adults had more fun though. :)

We went to a NICE restaurant in Venice called The Crow's Nest and all had amazing food and uninterupted conversation! It was gorgeous to watch the sun set on the ocean as we ate a mega delicious meal! Then we even went to another establishment for some adult beverages after dinner!

While chatting over drinks, we decided we are going to go on a cruise, just the 4 of us sometime (hopefully) in the next 18 months. THAT'S how much fun our few hours alone was!
