Ayla Visits

This little girl is hilarious!
When she got to our house, she and Tate immediately ran upstairs to play in Tate's room. A few minutes later, she comes downstairs like this.
Wearing Mr. Potato Head's glasses and playing a recorder.
And this was in the first 5 minutes of her being at our house.

Then we ate lunch, let the kids play and then she took a nap.
As soon as she woke up, we put the kids in their swimsuits, doused them with sunscreen and headed to meet Sarah, Mike, Leah and Kayla at the pool.
The kids had a blast swimming. When we were done swimming, the boys went and got pizza and Sarah and I took the kids to their house to play. The kids loved playing together!
When we got home Tate and Ayla took a bath and it was time for a show and bed.
That was it...the day just flew by!

It was so fun having Ayla for this short time and Tate LOVED having her here!
Nana and Papa will be taking her to Muscatine in the morning tomorrow so that Sean, Tate and I can have a fun day going to Toy Story 3D before heading to Muscatine for dinner with my family to celebrate Father's Day.
A fun weekend indeed!
