Safe Haven Law

Sean, along with a couple of girls in one of his classes have been working on a project regarding the Safe Haven Law. They are lobbying to extend the amount of days a parent has to drop a child off without legal action from 14 to 45 days. Currently, parents can only drop a child off if the child is 14 days old or younger in the state of Iowa. The story of their project was published in the Grand View newspaper...you can read it here.
