Tate's First Time Boating

Tate went out on the boat for the first time today. He did great! He was well rested and had just eaten when Brenda and Chris said that they wanted to go out. It was perfect timing and Tate had a ball. He really just sat back and took it all in. Summer is definitely his favorite season. When he's outside, he's happy. Anything involving the sun and water makes Tate happy! We were barely on the highway after leaving from the boating trip and Tate was asleep. He doesn't usually take a nap in the evening so we thought he would wake right up when we got him out of the car. We were wrong...he was out like a light! I think if we had taken him out and put him right into bed, he would have slept all night! We gave him a bath, fed him and then watched some fireworks on TV and he went to bed without a peep. Usually he talks in his crib for up to 20 or 30 minutes before he goes to sleep, but not tonight...he rolled onto his side the minute we put him down. Not even all of the popping and banging of fireworks going off outside has woke him up! I am sure it will completely surprise you to hear that I took MANY pictures...here are a few.
