Another Fun Filled Weekend

We have another busy weekend planned. Today Mom and Dad came to town and we all gathered at Poleys' house for some pre-dinner drinks and conversation. After that, we headed to Rube's to eat dinner. Rube's is a grill your own steak place and we always get way too full there due to the all you can eat salad bar, potatoes, texas toast and baked bean! It was SOOO good! Tate ate baked beans and cottage cheese for the first time and he loved it! He ate a TON of baked beans...I hope he doesn't get a tummy ache! After dinner, we went back to Chris and Brenda's and blew bubbles and hung out for a little bit before heading home around 9:00 to put Tate to bed. Tomorrow morning Tate and I are going to Bethany Christian Services to speak at a meeting for prospective adoptive families. I will tell our adoption story and help give suggestions regarding ongoing contact with birth parents and also will answer questions as well. After that, we will probably come home for Tate's nap and then we will be heading to Brigg's 6th Birthday party which is at a hotel in town. So many people are coming in to celebrate his birthday...it will be so much fun! I am sure I will have tons of pictures! We hope to relax a little on Sunday because we will have a busy couple of weeks ahead of us. We leave for Florida in a week! We are really looking forward to that and just found out that Sean is going to be able to go with us! We were unsure for a while if he was going to be able to go because he just got a new job, but it all worked out! Woohoo!
