Not much...

I can't believe that the week is over halfway gone! Time flies so quickly! I have been sick these last few days...not bed ridden, just feeling kind of blah. I finally got the kitchen looking spic and span today, but that's about all I managed to do before I felt wiped. This weekend, I am doing some hair and makeup for some people for a wedding and then the plan is to relax...well, maybe I'll do some laundry too. I have been cooped up in my house for what seems like weeks because I am trying to not drive unless absolutely necessary to save money on gas. I am getting a little stir crazy, but Tate keeps me busy! Sean is done with school for the summer (YIPPY!!!), so he is actually fully available for family time when he's not working which is fantastic! Usually he has some sort of studying or project to do, so this is going to be a nice, much needed break for him to recoup and soak up as much family time as possible before the fall semester begins. He does always manage to spend time with us during school too, but then he just has to stay up extra late to get his studies done.

Tate is changing and getting more adorable and more funny every day! Sometimes he just does the funniest things! He's always squeeling and jabbering and is constantly moving and reaching for something. He hasn't started crawling yet, but he gets from point A to point B by rolling. He wants to crawl, but hasn't quite figured it out yet. He still LOVES his bouncy seat, but we try to put him down on the floor so he can move around more than confining him to the bouncy seat. It is hard though because he loves the bouncy seat so much! I swear he would sit in that all day if we let him! He ate peas for the first time without gagging and spitting them out 2 days ago, so that was quite a milestone for him! He doesn't like any of the green veggies, just the orange stuff. Now, we can add peas to his food rotation! :) The other night he ate some party potatoes and Chris and Brenda's and man did he love those! I don't think we'll add those to the rotation though, they were just a special treat! Still, his favorite thing is his rice cereal...this blows my mind! That yucky old cardboard tasting rice cereal, he just cannot get enough of it! He gobbles it down saying, "mmmm" with every bite! I am glad that his favorite thing is the healthiest, so I won't complain! I wish I could say the same for myself! Ha.

Next week, I hope to get to the pool at least once. Tate loved it so much this weekend that I want it to be a regular activity for us...if only it didn't require me getting into a swimsuit, it would be the perfect activity for a hot day! I'll sacrifice scaring everyone at the pool if it makes Tate happy I guess! :)

Well, that's my update...sorry I don't have anything too terribly exciting to share!
