We had a fantastic weekend in Muscatine celebrating Tate and his arrival into our lives! So many great friends and family were there, we had fabulous food and a great time. Aside from Sean not being able to attend and the fact that the Hawks had a terrible loss, the weekend was wonderful! It was so great to see so many people that I haven't seen in so long and to have them meet Tate. Tate did a great job being his alert, layed back self most of the time. I think he enjoyed getting ooooo'd and ahhhhhh'd over...he LOVED the attention! :) Thanks to Cassie, Brenda and Mom for putting on a great party!!!! I am so blessed to have such a wonderful, loving family that is so generous. It was great to come home and be with Sean tonight too. Tate missed his Daddy so much and Sean missed Tate terribly as well. He hasn't put him down since we got home!

This week Sean is going to take a day off and stay home with Tate while I go to work one day to kind of get things all finished off with my job. I haven't worked since we got Tate, but I am going to go into work with my replacement (which happens to be my friend Melissa:)) to make sure she doesn't have any questions about anything. She's fine, but it's just kind of the way they do things, so I am stuck working one more day! It will be sooooo hard to leave Tate for most of the day, but it will be fine because he's just going to be with Daddy. I am going to miss him so much! Then, this weekend, we're looking forward to Sean's cousin's wedding. Tate will get to meet all kinds of people there and we'll get to see a lot of the family that we don't get to see very often. It will be a great time. Otherwise, we're just going to be hanging out at home and trying to get back into our routine after being gone all weekend.

Hope everyone is wel!!! Posted by Picasa

Some great pics!! The ones of him in his vest look so funny, he didn't look that drowned in it in real life.... :-) Too bad Kay couldn't have been in the pic with the other.... Bet she would loved to have been there too.
