As I have said before, my mother always says, "something good always comes from something bad." I have never seen a better example of this until reading a post on a website that a family friend wrote. This woman who wrote this and her husband just lost their 4 year old daughter and have such a strong faith! Every time I read on their website, I am so inspired to be a better Christian, to see the good in the bad, to sit back and enjoy this magnificent world that God has created! In her most recent post, she writes:
'Remember, He is near to you, too, you just need to take the time, get quiet and not be in control. (Let Him be in control.) I feel like God wants me to continue to tell you not to be too busy to hear His voice. Grief has forced me to become more introverted lately. I must have my time alone each day. This alone time gives me the opportunity to sit back and recognize God's work in my day. Do you think about how God works in your day? I think one of the keys to being in touch with God is having a childlike faith. Don't get bogged down by what you should know or what you should do, just let God guide you to where it is He wants to take you. It's not some overwhelmingly complicated relationship, rather it's simple. Let God lead you to turn on a Christian radio station, contact an old friend who comes to mind, listen to the passion He has placed in your hearts (whether it be as a parent, career related, or hobby). I think you will be amazed at how present He is in our moments.'
I love this! It's amazing to me that someone who is going through this tragic loss is so influential in leading me to take the right path for my life here on earth. I COMPLETELY agree with the fact that ones relationship with God isn't supposed to be complicated or overwhelming, but instead very simple. This was something that I really needed to read today and I wanted to share it with all of you in case you needed it as well!

Traci is indeed inspiring and to many!! She still needs prayer to get through her grief but will no doubt lean on God to do so. Amazing story, amazing family.
